Junior Mechanical Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working directly with fellow mechanical engineering team members for project execution support.
  • Perform basic mechanical engineering tasks and calculations for oil and gas projects inclusive of:
    • Perform pipe sizing and pressure loss calculations
    • Read and apply piping specification
    • Support piping specification in CADWorx
    • P&IDs
    • Engineering Evaluations
    • Review & preparation of line lists & equipment lists
    • Perform basic CADD drafting
  • Perform necessary specification and calculation research with direction.
  • Ensure conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior management, clients, and other disciplines.
  • Ability to travel to support field work activities periodically (including site commissioning).
  • Ability to analyze, define, and solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow, multitask, meet deadlines, and remain flexible.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • EIT preferred


Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation (i.e. Base Salary) is negotiable and shall be offered commensurate with experience.

  • Expected Base Salary Range: $60,000 / year – $78,000 / year
